Where Are You Putting Your Attention?

DO NOT


Think about


A purple elephant. 🐘


I mean it!




A PURPLE ELEPHANT.


Don't think about it.

Don't do it.


Don't.


NO!


Stop!

.


So...


You thought about a purple elephant didn't you? 😬


But, why?


I mean, I said NOT to. 🤔


Well, the mind is a very selective thing.

It can only handle so much information.


And can only have one concentrated focus at a time.


Our focus acts as both a magnifying glass and a magnet.

In other words, whatever we talk about, we see more of.

Whatever we think about, we experience more of.


Including the things we DON'T want in our lives.


Have you ever noticed an annoying habit of a friend or partner?


And once you noticed it for the first time, the more and more aware of it you became?


So that no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't NOT notice it anymore?


That's because whatever we give our attention to is what expands in our life.

👉 And most women who are unhappy, unfulfilled and unhealthy put their attention on all the things they DON'T want,


On the things they want to get rid of,


On the people or circumstances that they think are preventing them from living the life they DO want.

But when you focus on what you DON'T want or DON'T have, you are training your brain to focus on your problems, on negativity, on LACKING,


Rather than training your brain to focus on solutions, possibility and abundance.


Because our brains CANNOT hold a concentrated focus on more than one thing at a time. So, where do you want to put your focus? On all the stuff you DON'T want? OR on what you DO? Remember, you can only do one thing (well) at a time.

👉 You are where your attention is.

So if you want to live a happy, fulfilled and healthy life, STOP focusing on what you DON'T want in your life and instead, Get clear about what you really want. And then, Put your focus on moving TOWARDS it.
